Sharp, original-owner collection of 1939 Play Ball cards.  This collection yielded several higher-grade cards that we have featured in our last two auctions, many of the cards grading EX/MT or NM, with centering being the chief technical flaw.  Such is the case with this grouping, well cared-for and handled gingerly by the owner and later his sons, each card pulled from a pack and stored away by the family of the consignor.  Overall grade is EX with some lesser due to centering, and the occasional card with some mild corner wear.  Collection includes the following: #14, #16, #17, #18, #27, #28, #32, #35, #36 (2), #37, #38, #47, #48 Gomez (HOF - EX), #63 (2), #66, #67, #68, #71, #72, #73, #75, #76, #77 (2), #80, #81, #85, #107 (FAIR), #108, #109, #111, #114, #115.
