Interesting green cloth ribbon identifying the Brookside Base Ball Club of Deckertown, NJ.  Dated July 4, 1898, the green felt ribbon was likely once attached to a brooch or pin.  Measuring approximately 2 1/4" x 5 3/4", the ribbon does exhibit wear, mostly in the form of creasing and wrinkling, with the feathered bottom edge having become a bit matted over the years.  The gold foil printing has faded in places as well.  Still, an interesting award piece celebrating a local New Jersey team.
