Official Beaneaters scorecard for an 1898 game with the Brooklyn Bridegrooms.  The game featured Hall of Famers Billy Hamilton, Jimmy Collins, Hugh Duffy and Kid Nichols, all with the pennant-winning Beaneaters.  Stored unfolded, the piece measures 7 1/2" x 9 1/2", scored and folded in the center.  The piece is quite delicate, separating at the fold, with a small clip at the top right corner and a large segment of paper missing at the bottom right.  Though the game appears to be incompletely scored, pencil notations on the reverse date the game to September 26, the second game of a doubleheader.  Boston is credited with winning the game, 3-2 (consistent with the scoring), and the notations indicate that the game was called at 4pm.
