Absolutely gorgeous and likely undergraded example of the Wilson Franks card of Red Sox catcher Sammy White. Well-centered with strong color and registration for the issue the card boasts sharp corners with light touches and very little surface wear. White smiling as if he knew he was about to be pummelled in the back of the head by a flying pack of hot dogs was an All-American college basketball player for the University of Washington. Prohibited by the Red Sox from playing pro basketball White eventually became a professional bowler and after his retirement a professional golfer.
