Produced by the Texas Gum Company in 1910 the E105 Mello Mint set is a favorite amongst caramel card collectors who enjoy a challenge. While some samples from this set show with some frequency others are exceptionally rare. To our knowledge no complete set has so far been put together. The prize of this E105 grouping this PSA 3 sample features Hall of Fame pitcher Cy Young in front of a glowing orange backdrop. This card’s minor condition flaws (corner rounding scuffing and a corner crease) are quickly over looked when its scarcity and player selection are considered. Overall this card of the legendary Cy Young would be a prize in any collection.
