Absolutely beautiful example of the Wilson Franks card of Cubs outfielder Hank Sauer graded EX-MT 6 by PSA. Well-centered Wilson Franks cards are things of beauty and this is no exception: the card"s orange background offset against the white border gives the appearance of a work of art moreso than a baseball card. Sauer author of a 15-year career was a prolific home run hitter during his career belting 41 in 1954 and 288 for his entire career. Still in this picture he has chosen a baseball as opposed to a bat as his weapon to defend himself against a flying pack of hot dogs. The card reverse is clean and corner wear is minimal. An excellent example of a tough card type.Population DataPSA Population: 61 total graded 8 at this level 7 higherSGC Population: 10 total graded 0 at this level 0 higher *All flying pack of hot dog jokes are made in honor of our good friend collector and hobby writer Chris Stufflestreet. Chris was a friend to many of us in the hobby and passed away tragically last year at a young age. Thanks to Chris we will never think of Wilson Franks cards the same way again.
