In addition to being generally scarce and subject to condition issues the 1954 Wilson Franks set was subject to poor quality control resulting in significantly off-centered cards. Such is the case with this beautiful card of outfielder Johnny Groth bursting with vivid yellow color but receiving a grade of VG 3 due in part to the centering and in part to the wrinkle across the front of the card.
