Produced in 1911 by Rochester Baking and Williams Baking to commemorate the 1910 World Champion Philadelphia Athletics team the D359 set is known for its gorgeous portraits player selection and scarcity. This “very good – excellent” sample of Bris Lord is high end for the set and has gorgeous colors and only minor corner touching. Interestingly this sample is also miscut and features a unique instance of another player’s name at the top of the card – Hall of Famer Connie Mack making this not only a nice conditioned scarce card but a unique one as well.
