Produced in 1911 by Rochester Baking and Williams Baking to commemorate the 1910 World Champion Philadelphia Athletics team the D359 set is known for its gorgeous portraits player selection and scarcity. Featuring Hall of Fame pitcher Chief Bender this specimen from this tough set is in collector grade due to some creasing and overall wear but presents very nicely and its gorgeous red background remains vivid. This sample has a Rochester Baking reverse and is an excellent example of a Hall of Fame player from a scarce set.
