I have one to sell!
Of all the players of the modern era few have captured the attention of collectors like Derek Jeter. A sure first-ballot Hall of Famer Jeter was a 14-time All-Star winning the 1996 Rookie of the Year and capturing both the All-Star Game and World Series MVP awards in 2000. His 3 465 lifetime hits rank #6 all-time with more lifetime hits than any other player to wear the Yankee pinstripes. Game-used bats from Derek Jeter while by no means scarce are incredibly desirable and have consistently increased in value during his storied career. This example dating to the 2012 season is a particularly strong one graded GU 9 by PSA/DNA with an accompanying LOA from Steiner Sports signed by Jeter himself. The jet black Louisville Slugger measures 34 inches in length and weighs in at 31.7 ounces uncracked with outstanding evidence of use. The bat which has been signed by Jeter in silver marker exhibits many visible ball marks and stitch impressions throughout the barrel including blue ink transfers and white leather scuffs. A light coat of Mota stick and an impression from a batting donut are also clearly visible. The date of manufacture (6/1/12) weight and length are also stamped into the knob. Jeter's 2012 seasons was one of his best; a .316 batting average and .362 on base percentage helped the Yankees attain a record of 95-67 and capture the A.L. East title. He belted 216 hits including 15 home runs and 32 doubles in one of his most productive seasons. With Jeter's inevitable Hall of Fame induction a few years away his memorabilia still continues to achieve new heights with each auction. Bats of this grade and exhibiting this level of use will surely continue to lead the way.
