Newspaper photo depicting Honus Wagner at this point a Pirates coach nearing the end of his baseball career. The photo has been signed in bold black ink by Wagner who also added an inscription of "Coach - 1950." The photo has been mounted on a black paper backing for stability and then authenticated and encapsulated by PSA. Signed newspaper photos are generally not the most attractive collectibles. However when encapsulated by a grading company the become instantly more displayworthy. Such is the case here. The signature has the added benefit of being graded GEM MINT 10 by PSA putting it in rarified air with the finest Honus Wagner signatures in existence.
