Robert Gould Inc. of New York was one of a few companies that issued plastic statuettes of baseball players in the mid-50s. The Gould-produced issue was called the "All-Stars" series a series of 28 white plastic statues that came with a crude baseball card rubber-banded to the statue. The cards are all hole-punched with notches at each side to accommodate the rubber band. The cards are very scarce today a very desirable but seldom-seen postwar card type. This example featuring Sid Gordon has been graded POOR 10 by SGC but if population reports are an indicator of scarcity this is one of just five examples of this card to be graded by either PSA or SGC.
