I have one to sell!
Established by Quakers in 1833 Haverford College was initially a religious institution for males only not becoming co-ed until 1980. The CdV depicts a group of Haverford College students eleven in total posed on campus smartly dressed. Two crossed bats and a baseball in the foreground imply that the photo is of a baseball team. Written on the reverse of the CdV is "James A. Chase " along with "Class of '68" "Freshman Team." The image quality is very strong (though the team members moved around a bit during the camera's exposure) with some minor soiling that's most visible on the reverse. All four corners have been clipped. Still an excellent period piece a beautiful CdV with baseball-specific imagery.
