Graded GOOD+ 2.5 by PSA the primary flaw of this card of brawling Tiger catcher Boss Schmidt is its rounded corners. The image quality is strong as is the surface but the corners exhibited a tad too much rounding for the graders to feel comfortable assigning a VG grade hence the "GOOD+."Schmidt the tough Detroit catcher who famously fought Ty Cobb several times knocking him unconscious in the Tigers dressing room. Known for his fighting ability Schmidt was rumored to have fought an exhibition bout with heavyweight champion Jack Johnson.
