Gorgeous signed 6" x 8" 1929 wire photo personalized to "Mrs. L. Davis/Best Wishes..." Heathcote was the owner of a .275 lifetime batting average across 15 seasons witih four teams including the 1929 National League champion Chicago Cubs. He is known for having been traded inbetween games of a doubleheader to the opposing team (the Cardinals) for Max Flack. Both players played for both teams on the same day against one another. Heathcote passed away in 1939 at the age of 40 and his autographs is nearly extinct in any form much less on an image of this size. Stunning and extremely rare.
