Despite the controversy that seemingly surrounds Pete Rose at all times he remains a hobby icon. His early cards - particularly his 1963 rookie card - continue to attract high collector demand and high-grade examples of his cards always attract healthy bids. Offered is a higher-grade example of Rose' 1966 Topps card graded NM 7 by PSA ostensibly prior to the advent of their half-grade system. The card is reasonably well-centered albeit with a slight tilt and the corner wear is consistent with a NM grade. Image quality is strong and impactful the light blue banner complimenting the clear sky in the image as well as Rose's red uniform accents. A beautiful card from a very popular issue.
