Extremely appealing "rookie card" of "Sunny Jim" Bottomley who would play 16 seasons mostly with the Cardinals finishing his Hall of Fame career with a .310 lifetime batting average and 219 home runs. Despite being graded VG 40 by SGC the card appears much stronger with little corner and edge wear and several indentations on the reverse that appear to be a manufacturing issue which nevertheless reduce the card's technical grade.
