Exceptional card featuring one of the most colorful and memorable characters in the history of the game Casey Stengel smiling cheerfully at the camera. As a player Stengel was above average hitting .284 over a 14-year career with a .356 lifetime On Base Percentage. It was as a manager however that Stengel gained his notoriety learning his craft from John McGraw and applying it to win multiple pennants with the Yankees in their golden era. This example graded GOOD 30 by SGC exhibits minor wear and toning perhaps little enough to be considered slightly undergraded. Regardless a very attractive card.
