A hoard of 1928 Yuenglings cards that walked into the National several years ago simultaneously raised the profile of the 1928 ice cream issues and underscored the scarcity of the Harrington's and Tharp's cards from that same year. This example one of the issue's three key cards features Yankees hero Lou Gehrig and has been graded GOOD 30 by SGC due to some creasing at the top third of the card. The creasing does not however interfere dramatically from the image of Gehrig still a decade removed from his career-ending illness as he just began to enter his prime.
