Attractive T205 card of the "Christian Gentleman " Christy Mathewson. Still one of the most popular players among collectors this handsome portrait is among the more iconic images among prewar hobbyists. This particular example exhibits wear at the corners along with some surface wear that results in a few wrinkles visible on the card front. However the portrait of Mathewson is largely untouched by the wear resulting in a very appealing card.
