Clean attractive photo of one of the game's greatest hitters graded VG 40 by SGC due to corner wear minor ink staining (likely a result of the manufacturing process) at the bottom-right and some surface abrasions mostly minor. It was Hornsby that famously stated "People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring." His lifetime batting average of .358 is illustrative of his devotion to the game; the average is good enough to place him second all-time behind the great Ty Cobb. Given his career numbers Hornsby is underrated in the hobby one of the very greatest of all-time.
