Extremely attractive hand-cut card from the 1930 W554 issue. Featuring identical poses to the R316 Kashin set these 5" x 7" sepia-toned or black & white cards depict all the stars of the era. With 18 cards in the set in total completing a set is challenging but attainable; the cards scarce but not impossible to find. Traditionally blank-backed the issue can also be found with three different printed advertisements on the reverse: A. Bonemeary "Big Prize " and "Lucky Yo-Yo." While the latter two are the most scarce the Bonemeary reverse is scarce in its own right adding a layer of difficulty to an already tough issue.
