One of the most rare of the Mendelsohn ad backs the Holmes to Holmes Bread reverse is the only one with an illustration in the ad. The reverse makes reference to Baseball's Hall of Fame something that would not debut for several decades after the cards were issued. Jimmy Callahan the subject of this card was certainly not a part of it - his playing record was impressive but not great; his managerial record was sub-.500. None of this makes his Holmes to Homes card any less scarce however and despite the POOR 10 grade of this example (due to creasing and surface wear as well as substantial glue remnants and paper loss on the reverse) the card is very desirable among type collectors.
