Extraordinary S74 "white" silk as issued in 1909 featuring the Giants' Fred Merkle and graded EX/MT+ 82 by SGC. An incredibly high-grade specimen for the issue SGC has graded very few silks this high (just four 1909 "white" silks have been graded higher than SGC EX 70 out of the entire set). In addition the silk carries the tougher Red Sun Cigarettes reverse. T211 Red Sun cards are incredibly desirable and the brand itself attracts quite a bit of collector attention. This example is of particularly high grade featuring a popular player and a difficult back. A wonderful card if we may call it a "card."
