Distributed by Williams Baking and Rochester Baking in 1911 the D359 issue contains 18 cards featuring members of the Philadelphia Athletics. Among the most scarce of the baking company issues the cards are colorized illustrations of black and white images set against solid color backgrounds. This example featuring the popular Topsy Hartsel has been graded VG 40 by SGC due mostly to staining on the surface. Looking past the staining the card is actually quite attractive well-centered with square corners. An excellent example of a very difficult card type.
