Among the rarest of all the Mendelsohn-produced issues from 1916 are the Mall Theatre cards. Accounting for less than 1% of the population of all M101-4/5 backs according to Tim Newcomb and Todd Schultz in Old Cardboard the cards are extraordinarily rare for the issue. While we have had numerous different backs from the M101-4/5 issues in our auctions this is the first Mall Theatre card we have handled. Graded GOOD 30 by SGC the card appears much stronger than the assigned grade slight cracking of the surface gloss bringing the card down from the VG level.
