Gorgeous oversized photo of Giants manager Leo Durocher with his wife the "first lady of baseball " actress Laraine Day. Day was primarily a B-movie actress who was married to Durocher from 1947 to 1960. This extremely large (23" x 17") photo depicts the couple at the ballpark Durocher in full uniform. The display quality of the photo is strong though there is some water damage plainly visible at the lower left and considerable flaking of the paper on the reverse (which has not impacted the image on the front). The paper has some mild wrinkling and curling at the edges simply due to its size but the wrinkling is inconsequential to the display and only worth mentioning here for the sake of transparency. Overall a wonderful piece.
