Vernon Tigers pitcher Roy "Rhino" Hitt won 20 games in five consecutive seasons between 1910 and 1914 also winning 25 and 31 for the San Francisco Seals in 1905 and 06. Despite this he only managed one brief season in the majors 1907 when he went 6-10 for the Cincinnati Reds. A PCL superstar Hitt won 206 games in his 13-year minor league career (all but four of which were attained in the PCL). Twice he logged more than 400 innings pitched in a season and he had a meager career ERA of 2.23. In 2004 Hitt was inducted into the PCL Hall of Fame.This card graded GOOD 30 by SGC presents extremely well with surface wear and unobtrusive wrinkling/creasing at the top of the card.
