Excellent ticket from Game 2 of the World Series at Shea Stadium featuring the New York Mets and the Boston Red Sox. Game 2 was a blowout victory for the Red Sox who took a 2-0 lead in the series pitching phenom Dwight Gooden taking the loss. The momentum of the series shifted back and forth until the infamous Bill Buckner error in Game 6 which led to a decisive Mets' victory in Game 7 and the team's first championship since 1969. The ticket is in excellent condition retaining virtually all its original gloss with some minor surface scratching and very minor wear at the edges. An excellent ticket.
