Many E98 collectors will surmise that it is the commons and not the Hall of Famers that are more difficult to track down when collecting the set. While some of the players in this grouping would hardly qualify as "commons" - Bill Dahlen"s name is often brought up for Hall of Fame consideration and Al Bridwell was certainly a popular player in his day - they are not among the grouping of higher-priced HOFers that populate much of this set. Presented here are three lower-grade examples of blue-background E98 cards each graded by SGC. The collection includes the aforementioned Bill Dahlen (SGC GOOD 30) and Al Bridwell (SGC POOR 10 due to heavy creasing) along with George Mullin (SGC AUTH due to a left border trim).
