Managed by Hall of Famer Casey Stengel the 1941 Boston Braves finished 7th in the National League with a 62-92 record. Suffice to say that Casey's best managerial years were still ahead of him. This Spalding ONL (Frick) baseball was signed by 23 members of that team including the future Hall of Fame manager who signed clearly on the sweet spot. The ball toned with age with some very faded signatures on the north and south panels still presents extremely well with the most important signature bold and clear.
