Though an unpopular set among card collectors the 1980 Superstar issue featured 45 cards of just a dozen or so players sold as a complete set for just $3.50. Today the cards are not widely collected. This example however has been signed in bold fashion by Yankees great Joe DiMaggio. A clean classy signature DiMaggio applied it in blue Sharpie which contrasts well against the black and white photo and blue/yellow background creating a very pleasing presentation.
