Possibly the most iconic card in the landmark 1953 Bowman color set the Pee Wee Reese card featured a horizontal shot of the Dodgers shortstop leaping over an incoming baserunner making the throw to complete the double play. This example has been graded POOR 10 by SGC but is far superior than the grade. The grade was assigned because of some corner staining likely the result of mounting in a scrapbook either with clear tape or some type of photo corners. The staining is not visible on the reverse and without it this is easily a VG/EX to EX card. We have elected to offer the card as a single lot as a way for a budget-conscious collector to obtain a very presentable but affordable example of a legendary card.
