Sharp and well-centered higher-grade example of Roberto Clemente's 1962 Topps card graded NM 84 by SGC due to very slight edge and corner chipping. The 1962 Topps issue is extremely condition-sensitive due to the wood-grain borders and their propensity for such chipping as well as myriad print defects and centering problems inherent to 1960s Topps cards. This example keeps such flaws to a minimum allowing the viewer to focus more on the crisp photography and the confident gaze of a true superstar.
