In early October of 1998 the Boston Braves Historical Association held a 50th anniversary celebration to commemorate the team's National League championship of 1948. Presented is a program from that event signed by nine former members of the team including Hall of Famer Warren Spahn. The brochure elegantly designed to include an image of the 1948 World Series program has been signed in such a way that all the signatures appear on the white outer border of the program creating an extremely display-worthy piece. Creases that you see in the scan are actually creases in the image of the game program reproduced on the cover; the actual program displays in EX to EX/MT condition. Signatures include Danny Litwhiler (reserve outfielder) Art Johnson (early 1940s Braves pitcher) Ray Martin (pitcher) Normie Roy (minor league pitcher) Warren Spahn (pitcher) Sibby Sisti (infielder) Johnny Antonelli (pitcher) and two unidentified players.
