Extremely attractive example for the grade, bright and well-centered, with wide borders and a clean image. Though the card appears to be VG or perhaps even VG/EX, a very light but visible surface crease runs parallel with Wagner's bat, just underneath it. The flaw is more visible on the reverse, which does exhibit some mild, age-related discoloration. The card remains an attractive example, of all the E95 cards, perhaps the one with the greatest detail. Of all the caramel cards, the E95 Wagner is perhaps the one with the most interesting perspective - so many are deliberately posed illustrations made from studio or other posed photos. This clearly appears to be a true action image, something rarely seen in this era.
