Rich and colorful portrait pose for Hall of Fame infielder Joe Tinker that turns its red saturation up to maximum. The SGC GOOD+ 2.5 grade follows from a light diagonal crease at upper right, slightly rounded corners all around, and slight tilt to its left edge. Color and surfaces are otherwise of high-quality and centering is near-perfect.
Tinker was inducted to Cooperstown not long before he passed, accompanying famous teammates Evers and Chance. Some criticize this act in retrospect, calling their inductions nostalgic instead of earned. Modern analysis shows all three posted career WAR numbers well above 40, so are nowhere near the marginal choices made by other committees. (Tommy McCarthy's 14.6 WAR continues to carry that "why THIS guy?" torch.)
