Art Bernier played for three seasons in the NHA, including with the Montreal Canadiens in their first year of existence. He is credited as a goal scorer in the Canadiens first ever game, a 7-6 overtime victory over the Cobalt Silver Kings on January 5, 1910. This 1910 Sweet Caporal Hockey Postcard of Bernier, #37 in the set, exhibits chipping to the edges and rounding at the corners with a small crease visible at the lower-right. Still, a beautifully rendered card with clean and attractive front and back surfaces. Graded GOOD 2 by PSA it remains one of only 9 graded examples across both PSA and SGC's population reports combined.
