George Poulin was an undersized but physical center who played professionally from 1909-22, mostly with the Montreal Canadiens of the NHA and the Victoria Aristocrats of the PCHA. He is noted for being a member of the first Montreal Canadiens team of 1910 while also appearing in their inaugural game on January 5, 1910. Poulin was a member of the Montreal Canadiens when they captured their very first Stanley Cup in 1916, the first of 24 total in franchise history as of today. This 1910 Sweet Caporal Hockey Postcard of Poulin, #44 in the set and his rookie card, exhibits rounding at the corners with areas of chipping to the edges. An area of soiling is present at the top edge on reverse but does not appear to impact image on the front. Otherwise, card presents tremendously well with a beautifully rendered central image of Poulin.  Graded VG 3 by PSA it remains one of only 11 graded examples across both PSA and SGC's population reports combined.
