Canadian right-winger Ed Oatman is best known for playing professional hockey for over 30 consecutive seasons from 1907-39. During that span he starred for the Quebec Bulldogs, helping them secure a Stanley Cup championship in 1912 while forming a line with Hall of Fame scoring sensation and center Joe Malone and right winger John McDonald. This 1910 Sweet Caporal Hockey Postcard of Ed Oatman, #5 in the set and his rookie card, exhibits visible rounding at the corners and areas of chipping at the bottom edge. Some areas of what appears to be soiling are present around the perimeter. Still, the card presents quite beautifully with highly attractive central image and postally-unused reverse. Graded GOOD 2 by PSA it remains one of only 11 graded examples across both PSA and SGC's population reports combined.
