On June 29, 2010, a ceremonial groundbreaking took place on the site of the future Heritage Field, a state-of-the-art baseball and sports complex located on the site of the old Yankee Stadium in the Bronx. A number of dignitaries took part in the ceremony, among them New York Yankees president Randy Levine, General Manager Brian Cashman, and pitcher Joba Chamberlain. Each dignitary was presented with a ceremonial shovel, each emblazoned with a placard reading "Yankee Stadium Heritage Field Groundbreaking 2010." This shovel, presented to Joba Chamberlain, is in outstanding condition, still shiny and new (with some dust on the shovel itself). Only used once!
