Exceptional early card of Jackie Robinson, graded SGC VG/EX 4 due to surface toning and slight to modest wear on its corners. Of particular interest for this card is the width of the "MADE IN U.S.A." printing in the lower-right corner of the card, which measures ~7/16" wide, with letters a bit wider than they are tall. The 1947-66 Exhibit issue covered 20 years, with new set issued each year, often as a mix of fresh and repeated players. When they reprinted cards year after year, minor variations appear that help narrow them to a given range. These letter dimensions date to the 1950 set, according to expert work on Exhibit Co. dating by Keyman Collectibles.
