Great collection of two complete sets featuring Topps inserts of the 1960's and 70's. Pair includes 1) 1969 Topps Deckle Edge: The 1969 Topps "Deckle Edge" set consists of 33 2 1/4" x 3 1/4" black and white cards, plus two cards (#11 and 22) that were assigned twice - card #11 could be either Hoyt Wilhelm or Jimmy Wynn, and card #22 could be either Rusty Staub or Joe Foy. The cards were inserted into pacs of 1969 Topps baseball cards. Notoriously off-center and the delicate edges subject to damage, the set is an interesting and affordable way to obtain superstar cards of the era. This is a bright and clean, largely EX+ set and includes both #11 and #22 cards. 35 cards total. 2) 1970 Topps Scratch Off: Attractive complete set of the 1970 Topps Scratch-Off issue. Distinguishable from their 1971 counterparts only by their white centers, the issue was designed for game play so cards with unscratched centers are difficult to find. Each of the cards presents extremely well with unscratched centers and bold, brightly printed colors, though several are typically off-center for the issue. Attractive grouping averages EX+. 24 cards total. Two great insert sets filled with Hall of Fame star power.
