Cards graded at this level display excellent overall images and detail quality, with minor factors holding them from the very highest scores. Tiny corner touches and minor print marks along its black image border are all one can see here, none detracting from its excellent main image.

Terry's sour face might reflect game 7 of 1960's World Series, where he gave up Bill Mazeroski's famous winning homer! Given their New York roots, we can imagine Topps choosing an image like this for that reason alone.
