Despite the technically accurate grade, this is a wonderful 1907 example, safely stored away in plastic binder pages for many years by a longtime collector. Surface wear is minor; the majority of the technical flaws relate to minor corner and edge chipping, common to the issue, but not interfering with the eye appeal of the card. An outstanding example of a Hall of Famer from this popular issue.
