Browns pitcher Bill Bailey served as the team's "ace" in 1909, which still meant losing more games than he won, thanks to his dodgy surrounding cast. This PSA VG 3 grade also looks a bit dodgy, thanks to the blue ink drifting northward to create drop shadows along his arms and cap. Moderately rounded corners and specks of surface could also impact its overall score, which a past grader treated more generously than they might today!
