Tremendous full-length original photo of a young Reggie Jackson during the early 1970's. Jackson is striding confidently near home plate while sporting the classic vest-style jersey the dynastic Athletics were known for during this era. His Athletics captured World Series titles in three consecutive seasons while Jackson was on the roster, besting the Cincinnati Reds in 1972, the New York Mets in 1973, and the Los Angeles Dodgers in 1974. The future Hall of Famer collected MVP honors in 1973 while also being named 1973 World Series MVP, a feat he'd duplicate in the 1977 World Series while with the New York Yankees. Clean and bright the photo displays credit stamping from Clifton Boutelle at center of verso with a handwritten notation dating the image to 7/25/71 at the bottom-left.
