Colorful, bright, and well-centered "throwing" pose of Nap Lajoie in Cleveland's spring wool warmup sweater, a charming piece of uniform history that teams replaced with other materials by the postwar era. Tobacco sets of this era prove valuable for their ability to pick up anachronisms in uniform and stadium design that would be hard to appreciate otherwise.
The PSA VG-EX 4 grade reflects slight corner rounding, about the same for all four, and a haze on the reverse that could be from an album mount in earlier years. It remains a well-centered and attractive mid-grade example for this HOF legend, and each Lajoie card is a treasure in its own right.
