Historic Type I photo of pilot Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin exiting Apolo 11 in June of 1969 to become the second man to walk on the moon. Aldrin was preceded by the photographer, commander Neil Armstrong who exited the moon lander before him. Upon first stepping on the lunar surface Armstrong famously stated "That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind," the now-iconic phrase heard by millions on earth who had tuned-in to a live broadcast of the event. 8" x 10" original photo exhibits bright-white borders and appears free from significant blemishes of note.
