Easily the most attractive T213 Cobb we have ever seen this example at a glance appears in much better condition than the assigned grade. The card which features EX/MT corners gorgeous white borders and incredibly bold and rich color is stunning in its eye appeal. Unlike T206s the Coupon Cigarettes card feature a gloss coating on the obverse which is susceptible to wrinkles and mild creasing. Such is the case with this Cobb which features a series of spider wrinkles along the right edge of the card and another that traverses from the center of the card to the right edge. The heavy gloss and rich color of the card however obscures the wrinkles from arm's length and also in the scan. They are however quite visible under light and unfortunately responsible for the card's accurate technical grade. The graded population of Coupon Cigarettes features very few higher-graded examples with none above the VG/EX level. It is entirely possible then that this is one of the most - or perhaps even the most - attractive T213 Cobb to have been graded.
